Beef barley soup. Fry one pound of lean hamburger and an onion. Dump in to the biggest pot you have! Add One 16oz bag of coleslaw cabbage, 3 cups frozen mixed vegetables, one can beef consume, 2tbs beef soup base, 2/3 cup pearl barley then add water to almost the top of the pot! Bring to a boil and then reduce heat and simmer for a few hours. Salt and pepper to taste:)
Barefoot Contessa - Recipes - Lobster Corn Chowder, this would be good with substitutions for a low fat version. I make a sea food chowder that is yummy and low fat, but you wouldn't know. I think that similar recipe with only lobster=Yum!
