‘Punano' Tray

This type of wicker-ware is often referred to as 'Buka Baskets' as the technique originated in Buka, Bougainville, although today this type of basket is often made in the Southern Highlands region of Papua New Guinea.This tray is particularly large and is perfect for a display item, or for use as a tray for entertaining or everyday use. Approximate dimensions with handles are 53cm diameter and 7cm depth.
