Natural History Museum - London February 2015 // An interesting transparent mineral photographed in a way to show off the light and shadows
I had the idea to turn this photograph of a prosthetic ribcage into an advert for the Natural History Museum. It was photographed in monochrome, and the aim was to create a shadow. I used an LED light to give a hard shadow. I then used a bright green colour for the text to make it stand out, as it also matched the bright colour of the text of the logo.
Natural History Museum houses one of the world's largest collections of natural history specimens. Here you can see 70 million specimens in the fields of botany, entomology, mineralogy, paleontology, and zoology.
