I dream of middle class!

Seniors need social security checks. They have the right to those checks -- they paid into the system their entire working life time!

The rich create jobs. The rich drive the economy. These are the fundamental lies that Republicans have been trying to force on Americans since Ronald Reagan. Free Trade Agreements MIGHT be okay if they required a living wage and high environmental standards - and the resources to enforce the terms of the agreement. BUT, THEY DON'T. Even more damaging is rewarding corporations for moving jobs overseas with government subsidies. This is a pure and simple income transfer (i.e., welfare), but it's from the working and middle class people to the wealthy. It doesn't make sense for the vast majority of Americans. What ever happened to the "free market?"

Same thing in Australia tho now our big businesses are getting politicians to allow them to import cheap labour here saying we don't have the skilled labour!

but capitalism is innately selfish and anti-democratic. the owners and investors have only one goal -- to make more profit for themselves. when we have full democracy in all the workplaces, then we can reevaluate this economic system.

This is why they defund education. If not in schools then educate a free mind from home.

And, shockingly enough, some people like retail jobs, and they shouldn't be penalized for it!
