Barbara Payton, born Barbara Lee Redfield on 11/16/27 in Cloquet, MN. Died on 5/8/67 of heart and liver failure. An Actress from 1949 to 1955. She gained notice in the 1949 film "Trapped" co-starring Lloyd Bridges. She is best remembered for her stormy social life and battles with alcohol and drugs. She ended up being forced to sleep on bus benches and suffered regular beatings as a prostitute. Her life has been the subject of several books. She was married four times with one child!
