Draped Hypertufa Recipe on this one is heavy on the cement. I would use  1 part Portland cement (I was using a 2 qt pitcher) 1/4 part of peat ( about 1 pint) a handful of vermiculite and mortar mix depending on how much you want it to be textured water, about a 2 qt pitcher as above added slowly as you get it into a slurry or gravy

Oh, the Possibilities ! Draped Hypertufa: Take an old cloth soak in cement water, drape over a stand and leave in the sun to dry. Paint and you have beautiful plant holders

Lined the inside of a plastic bowl with a plastic bag, packed it with hypertufa and sculpted the face on top of it.  When I removed it from the mold I softened the outer edge with a wire brush and let it cure completely.

Making Hypertufa Pots. A little Perlite, a little Sphagnum Peat Moss and some Quickrete,  you've got custom planters.

Make DIY Cement Mushrooms - use dollar store plastic bowls and disposable fast food cups. Coat the inside of the bowl with vaseline as a lubricant so that the cement releases easier. It leaves a smooth texture on the final project. Simply peel the cup away.
