John Lopez, was born and raised on a ranch in S. Dakota.His western and rodeo theme bronzes have been well received by the public.For the past 10 years, he has been working on The City of Presidents project in Rapid City SD, placing bronze sculptures on street corners.In the midst of a successful career in bronze sculpting, he discovered this exciting new direction: scrap iron sculpting, founding a way to merge two art forms into a new hybrid of sculpture of everyday objects with bronze castings
