Students create an anchor chart displaying the similarities and differences between the four seasons. Student could pick a specific object such as a tree to represent what the tree looks like in each season. Also a great way to integrate weather concepts.
Clothespins on Hangers to practice alphabetical order (leave out some letters? write words on clothes pins? Lots could be done with this idea. Order clothespin numbers on a separate hanger that looks like a number line.
Capital letter on white spoon - Lower case letter on clear spoon - match them up. You could put the lower case letter on the back of the white spoon to help out the younger kids, then take it off later in the school year.
