A number of New Zealand’s motorsport stars, including V8 racing legend Greg Murphy, are being recognised for their world-class efforts in a new display at this year’s CRC Speedshow dubbed the New Zealand Legends of Speed.

Jetblack, the New Zealand-led challenge for the world land speed record, is bringing their full-size concept car to CRC Speedshow.  The massive, sleek black concept car will dominate all other vehicles on display at this year’s CRC Speedshow at the ASB Showgrounds on 21 and 22 July. The monocoque chassis of Jetblack concept car is New Zealand’s first-ever world land speed record attempt.  Tickets to the show are Children (10-15 years) $10, Adults $20, Children under 10 FREE.

The 2013 edition of CRC Speedshow will feature a new custom and classic car show, starring around 60 of New Zealand’s best customised cars, pickups and motorcycles thanks to the support of renowned automotive brand Castrol EDGE.    Known as the Castrol EDGE Custom and Classic Show, the show-within-a-show will complement CRC Speedshow, an annual weekend-long extravaganza of all things automotive which has grown in popularity with each of its six years.
