Escape Coffee Roasters came to life like any other good business, in the shed out the back yard. Immersed in the coffee culture of New Zealand we have cultivated an environment from our idea of having a place to grab a fresh roasted, fast, friendly coffee. Five years down the track the beast has come alive and we have our hole in the wall location in the old wool warehouse on the rugged Taranaki Coast. At Downtown Okato we believe in preparing wholesome food & beverages. We bake our own bread with organic flour from the South Island and we use fair trade organic coffee beans for our espressos. If you bring your own cup you get your take away coffee cheaper. Every second and fourth Monday of the month we host the local crop swap, and are happy to host a seed bank. We used a lot of recycled materials in decorating our shop, suitcases in the toilet and pallet chairs in the courtyard.
Here at Sentiments Flowers we offer a large range of florist and gift services with the environment in mind with fresh flowers arriving daily. We are a recycling centre for Nespresso Capsules! Drop off your used capsules here and we will do the rest!
