When I was travelling through the North Island a few months back, I made a stop at Greytown to visit Ngati Kahungunu ki Wairarapa’s Papawai Marae. Over the last week I've been attending a Maori Art taster course. During those 4 days we had to complete our NCEA booklet and also create a piece of Maori Art on some MDF board. The one above is mine, using the Koiri patterns and those three colors. Its approximately 80cm x 20cm.
