Katherine English Flora on Instagram: "I’ve fallen for daffodils in these soft tones this year, and am wondering if the late season ones are even more exquisite than the early. I had not seen such a large collection until this week when I visited and learnt with a local grower and breeder. Leitha and David have bred daffodils for 30 years, I was shown around their paddocks bobbing with joy. I was so swept away with my oohing and aahing that I forgot to take photos while there, I’m so sorry! Ther Growers, Daffodils, 30 Years, Katherine, Flora, Succulents

Field Of Roses on Instagram: "A little bit of Sunday flower play ❤️ I’ve been wanting to create something with my Ridgedale tulips, as soon as I saw the wisteria flowering outside my window I knew they would be a perfect pairing. I added Cioccolato Ranunculus and a mix of winter sunshine sweet peas in lavender and light blue and the first stems of Piggy Sue, Bicolour red anemones, and a single stem of Rococo Tulip. But I still felt like the arrangement was a bit flat and then I spotted the Fabio Red Anemone, Anemones, Ranunculus, Windows Me, Sweet Peas, Little Bits, Wisteria

Katherine English Flora on Instagram: "Spring tendrils, reaching and swooping. A bowl of simple treasures, periwinkle, geums, and grape hyacinths dancing around daffodils. For me the most wonderful of all is the little periwinkle at the top right. The most common “weed” really, but I love it’s sweetness and that it feels a little naughty including something so everyday. Sometimes it’s the things that we walk past that really are the treasures. Dare I say it, it says to me that why would we go to Hyacinth, Periwinkle, Weed, Dancing

Katherine English Flora on Instagram: "If you look closely you’ll see my talisman, a turtle. When in the process of designing my website @katecregoedesign asked me if I had a talisman that could be included in it. In honesty I was a little nervous about sharing it so publicly as it is very close to my heart. However I trusted Kate would illustrate it in a way that honoured how important it is to me. And as you can see, she did so exquisitely. She even sent me my own bespoke print of it, I honest Close To My Heart, Honesty, Meaningful Gifts, Talisman, Nervous, Bespoke

Katherine English Flora on Instagram: "Creating small gatherings of colours, shapes, textures and forms is something that has long been part of me. Time spent making collections that relate to each other is something I have always done. Even as a child I would be looking at stones, studying details in each. Arranging them into groups, creating patterns and telling a story through them. It’s lovely I think, that we can look back over our childhoods and see the parts of us that link to who we ar Studying, Spending, Childhood, Collections

Katherine English Flora on Instagram: "Possibly the loveliest winter treasure for me is japonica (hmmm did I say that about wintersweet?), and I’ve been saving this “proper” ikebana vase especially for it. Although it may well be sacrilege to fill it so fully. Restraint is not always my strong point, but I am trying. Truly I am, but when I see flowers that I love I find it very hard to restrict myself to just a few stems. The japonica will last for at least 10 days, and the camellias will pro Ikebana Vases, Japonica, Restraint, Stems, 10 Days
