"This wine is the whole package. It's entered a superb drinking window, that is the perfect combination of great fruit character, as well as the classic floral and herbal notes of Pinot. The texture really takes on that of one of the great Premier Crus, like Dominodes or Narbantons, and has tremendous length on the finish a well. This still has plenty of life left to it, but it's really tough to resist now! This wine epitomizes the greatness that is the legendary 2010 vintage!

I don't really come from the "less is more" school of thought -- except when it comes to California Pinot Noir. This lovely wine fits that description, showing quite generous aroma and flavor, but showing it from a light, delicate platform with no overt sweetness. The fruit recalls both red and black cherries as well as wild strawberries, with almost no discernible oak and beautifully balanced acidity and tannins. Amazing value with this bottle. 93 Points!
A seductive nose reminiscent of ripe plum and blackberry, with layered components of earth, violets and Asian spice. The palate reveals supple tannins and lively acids accented with pretty hints of framboise and underlying notes of dark chocolate and rye. Try with caramelized onion and goat cheese crostinis, smoked pork and a game of bocce.
Medium depth with a bright ruby red color. Bright fruit aromas of fresh crushed berries, hints of spicy oak, and some forest floor notes. The palate is rich, with red berry flavors providing some nice fruit sweetness. Soft tannins ensure that the wine is approachable in its youth, however, it does have structure to enable the wine to develop over the years.
The 2010 vintage is one of our best, a medium-bodied, fruity red that enjoys enticing aromas of dark berries, boysenberries, and raspberries. A sweet entry of brown sugar and molasses is followed by a bit of orange zest and coriander. The core reveals fleshy plum flavors, with a spicy note of cardamom from oak aging. Rich in texture with a lingering finish, pair this versatile wine with margherita pizza, sweet potato fries, or Thanksgiving with all of the fixins'.
